Cutting Twill

Once a design has been digitized, the twill is then cut into the shape of the design. The twill is cut using either a flat bed cutter or a laser. This provides clean edges, and a high quality finished product once the cut out twill is sewn onto a garment.

Placing Tackle Twill

The garment is hooped, and placed on the embroidery machine. An outline stitch is then sewn onto the garment to show exactly where to place the cut out twill. Once the twill is placed, it is then sewn onto the garment using a dense satin stitch, or a cross/zig zag stitch.

Finished Product

After the twill is sewn onto the garment, it is often heat sealed. This is accomplished by heat pressing the twill after is has been sewn on to activate the adhesive on the back of the twill. This locks the design into place. The combination of sewing the twill onto the garment, then heat sealing creates an ultra premium and lasting look.
